TERMS OF USE
GENERAL
The following General Conditions apply to all orders placed by the customer (hereafter referred to as “you”) with UMA Intimates, (hereinafter “UMA Intimates”/us) in the online and mobile store www.umaintimates.eco ( hereinafter, “web page”, “web”).
By using www.umaintimates.eco you are accepting these conditions (hereafter “terms” or “conditions”) and are bound by them. Please read this document in its entirety before placing an order. UMA Intimates reserves the right to update these conditions at any time without prior notice. The conditions to which your order will be subjected will be those stated on the website at the time of your order confirmation.
PRICES AND SHIPPING COSTS
The prices that appear in www.umaintimates.eco do not include shipping costs. If the tax rate is updated, the change will be visible in your order, applying the legal rate the time of your order confirmation.
Some specific offers may entail “free shipping costs”. These offers may not be available for all destinations and the conditions will be clearly stated on our website or corporate mailing. We reserve the right to apply these offers, which may depend on the total amount of the order or shipping destinations.
Shipping costs will always be the same regardless of the size and weight of the package. The cost of each shipment will be clearly displayed during the checkout or purchase completion process. If we cannot ship your entire order at once and more than one shipment must be made, we will ship your order in multiple packages with no additional shipping costs for you.
ORDERS AND PURCHASE COMPLETION
The purchase of the products must be enacted by selecting the “ADD TO CART” button that appears at the foot of the page of the purchase request. Selecting this button expresses total acceptance of the General Conditions.
The inclusion of any product or promotion in www.umaintimates.eco in a specific period does not imply a guarantee that this product or promotion will be available continuously, and may be subject to availability. UMA Intimates reserves the right to discontinue any product or promotion at any time without prior notice.
When placing the order, you will immediately receive an email confirming your purchase order and the reference number to the email address you have provided.
If for any reason we are unable to process your order, we will let you know as soon as possible. If you have already paid for your order, we will refund the full amount in the same payment method that you used, at no extra cost to you. If, for any reason a different procedure is necessary, a representative of UMA Intimates will contact you to arrange the return.
For security reasons, purchases worth more than €1,200 or containing more than 12 items will not be accepted.
SHIPMENTS
All items purchased at UMA Intimates online store are sent by express courier. UMA Intimates is committed to accepting and processing orders with the utmost diligence and accuracy, managing each shipment as quickly as possible.
No shipments are made on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Please note that if you are outside the European Union, you are responsible for paying local customs taxes.
Once the purchase is made, the orders are sent the next business day, but this period could be extended up to 48 hours in times of greater volume. Keep in mind that this dispatch time will need to be added to the carrier’s own delivery time, depending on the shipping method you choose. If you have particular urgency in receiving your order, or have doubts about when you could receive it, please contact our team by mail at: hola@umaintimates.eco. We will be happy to assist you.
At UMA Intimates, we are committed to meeting our stipulated deadlines. If your order is delayed for reasons beyond our control, please note that we cannot be held responsible for delays from third parties such as carriers, customs agents, etc. We will not compensate for delays in the delivery process in any case.
When your order is sent, you will be provided with a tracking number by email through the transport provider of the chosen service. If you do not receive this communication, please check your spam inbox and if you do not get it, contact our team at hola@umaintimates.eco.
Our delivery service is door to door. The collection of the order is your responsibility. Please bear in mind that additional deliveries and other changes in the service are beyond our control and could incur extra costs for you.
In the event merchandise is returned to us after repeat delivery attempts, we reserve the right to cancel your order and you could lose the right to a return.
CUSTOMS AND TAXES
In the event of international orders outside of Spain (including Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands), and the European Union, all orders will be subject to customs clearance costs and local taxes that may apply. The payment of these fees is the responsibility of the customer and depends on the customs policies of each country.
Please note that our prices do not include taxes from foreign countries or customs charges, which vary depending on each country and are the responsibility of the final buyer.
Likewise, in the case of orders to Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands, the buyer must pay the expenses of the corresponding customs DUA and the corresponding local tax.
If the client does not comply with any customs obligation such as the passing of fees or dispatch, we reserve the right to cancel your order and you could lose the right to a return.
ORDER CANCELLATION
If you are not satisfied with the product received, you have a period of up to 14 days after receiving the merchandise to let us know and start the return or exchange process.
If you wish to cancel your order, send us an email to hola@umaintimates.eco within the 14-day period. If the order has not yet shipped, we will automatically refund it for you. If the product has already been shipped, you may have to wait to receive it and follow our return process detailed below.
At UMA Intimates we are committed to providing the highest quality in our products. In the instance that you find a defect in the received items, please notify us as soon as possible, so we can inform you of how to return the item to us at no cost to you. We will proceed to verify the state of the merchandise and provide an exchange or full refund of the amount plus shipping costs in the event of a quality defect. We comply with the legal stipulations and in no case will these conditions affect the current rights of the consumer.
RETURNS
** UMA at some seasons and for short period, announces on the main website FREE RETURNS, this will not cover in any case customs fees or other taxes added to countries or areas outside the Peninsula and the EU.
We accept exchanges and returns of our products within 14 days of receiving your order.
You have a period of up to 14 days from the date you received the order to return it. The amount will be refunded or the product will be exchanged under the following conditions:
- Manufacturing defects.
- Changes in size. Bra exchanges are ONLY allowed if the garment is returned with unopened original packaging and labeling. For hygiene reasons, this type of change will NEVER be allowed in the different models of panties. Please make sure you choose the correct size from the size guide that we have prepared for you.
- If the change in size or model is due to our error, UMA Intimates will bear the costs of returning and resending the new model.
If the return or exchange is due to another reason, the shipping and collection costs will be paid by the customer.
The customer will assume all responsibility for any possible damage or loss of the returned items.
We will not accept returns communicated after 14 days from the delivery of the product.
Please note that we can only accept returns of items that are returned to us in perfect condition for subsequent sale. We cannot accept returns for items that do not keep all labels intact, used, dirty, or washed or otherwise altered.
If we receive returned products in less than perfect condition, they will be returned to the buyer.
To proceed with the return of the product, contact us by email at hola@umaintimates.eco indicating your order number, the items you want to exchange or return and the reason for the return.
If the reason is due to a defect or an error in the shipment, we will give you instructions to proceed with the return and recover the amount of the product and the shipping costs.
Our studio will assist you during local business hours Monday through Friday, and we will respond within 1-2 business days to confirm your return by providing all shipping instructions.
All shipments not identified and without prior confirmation by us will be rejected.
DEADLINES
To process a refund, we must receive the returned products within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order. In the event that we receive your products later than 14 days (up to a limit of 28 days), we will send you a refund code.
In accordance with the requirements mentioned above, we will refund the cost of the merchandise using the same means of payment that was used in the purchase process within a period of 14 days after receiving the returned merchandise. Alternatively, we will refund it in a valid code for credit in the case of return of goods between 15-28 days from receipt. This code will be sent to you by email to the same address you provided when placing your order. This code will allow you to purchase from the online store within a period of 6 months, and will be valid for a single use, as we cannot reissue credits.
Shipping charges, duties or customs charges are not eligible for return.
Please note that returns are processed automatically, and after this 28-day period we are unable to offer any other compensation or exceptions to our Policy.
Until the returned merchandise reaches our studio, and its return is accepted, it will remain your property. The buyer is responsible for the costs and the shipping process. You can use any method you prefer, but we recommend the use of a follow-up shipment, and also advise saving your receipt to mitigate damage or loss.
At UMA Intimates, we are committed to providing the highest quality in our products. All garments are manually checked before being shipped to detect manufacturing defects. In the instance that you find any defect in the received items, please notify us as soon as possible, so we can inform you of how to send this item to us at no cost to you. We will proceed to verify the state of the merchandise, providing an exchange or full refund of the amount plus shipping costs in the event of a quality defect. We comply with the legal stipulations and in no case will these conditions affect the current rights of the consumer.
CHANGES
Before making your purchase, take a moment to check your size in the Size Guide . Get in contact if you have any further questions regarding sizing.
If you decide to exchange an item for another size, please contact our customer service by sending an email to hola@umaintimates.eco and we will be happy to help you find the correct size.
For hygiene reasons, we only accept changes of bras and bodysuits. If you find that the chosen size or the model is not suitable for you, you can return the product, and we will send you the size that best fits your measurements. We accept exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order and in accordance with the return conditions above.
Exchanges for different sizes are paid by the customer. We recommend using a courier so we can track the shipment- this is a service we can offer you. We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if the garment does not follow our return requirements. UMA Intimates is not responsible for the cost such changes, nor are we responsible for customs or international taxes, or the loss or damage of items to be exchanged.
If the exchange of size or model is due to our error, UMA Intimates will cover the costs of returning and resending the new product. After we have received and process your return, we will send you the new size at no additional cost to you. This courtesy shipping does not apply to sale items, and is limited to one change per order. Although we are committed to helping you find the best option, we reserve the right to apply these free exchange promotions for remote locations.
PAYMENT
You can pay for your order by:
CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD (VISA / ELECTRON / MAESTRO / MASTERCARD).
To make the payment, you must enter your payment information at the time of placing your order with a valid credit or debit card (VISA or Mastercard).
UMA Intimates reserves the right to verify the validity of the credit or debit card, its credit status in relation to the value of the order, and whether the buyer’s address data is correct. Please note that the payment system uses a 3D security method that sends a validation code to your mobile phone to process the payment. If you do not receive this code, your international card may not be compatible with this validation system. In this case, we suggest that you try again and if the problem persists, use any other payment method offered that accepts most international cards.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept other means of payment such as checks, cash or bank transfers.
VARIATION OF THESE CONDITIONS
Uma Intimates reserves the right to modify these Conditions, prices or shipping methods without prior notification. The applicable prices, conditions and shipping methods will be those shown during the purchase process and our subsequent confirmation.
PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES
At UMA Intimates we prioritise transparency and will always attempt to give you the most comprehensive information available regarding our products. We do everything possible to show them online as they are in reality, paying special attention to attributes such as texture, colour and composition. However, the colour you see on your screen may vary slightly from reality.
WARRANTY
UMA Intimates complies with the legal purchase guarantee requirements. If you find defects in the items purchased or have a claim regarding quality or manufacturing defects, please notify us by email and we will assist you as soon as possible within business hours. We also have Claim Sheets available to consumers and users. You can request them by writing to: hola@umaintimates.eco
PARTIAL NULLITY
If any of these Conditions or any provision of a contract are declared null and void by a firm resolution issued by a competent authority, the remaining terms and conditions will remain in force, without being affected by said declaration of nullity.
